Age Restrictions Policy & ID:

The event is 14+. Any persons under 14 will not be permitted entry.

Under 18s: Any person under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a Guardian over the age of 21 at a 1:1 ratio (1 Guardian for every 1 person aged under 18).

Forms of ID accepted

ID will be required on entry to the event premises.  You may also be requested to show ID at the bars. We accept the following forms of ID: in date passport, Photo driving license. Forms of ID without a photo, or student cards will not be accepted. We do not accept photos of identification documents.

Can I bring my child? 

The event is 14+. Any persons under 14 will not be permitted entry. The event is not suitable for persons under the age of 14.

If I leave, can I re-enter?

No entry after 9pm

Where can I buy tickets?

All tickets are sold through our ticketing partner SeeTickets.

Can I buy tickets on the door?

You can’t buy tickets on the door but if there is still availability you will be able to buy a ticket online from SeeTickets while at the door using your mobile device. If the event has sold out it will be stated on our SeeTickets page. We strongly advise buying tickets in advance to guarantee your entry.

I can no longer make the event. Can I get a refund?

Tickets cannot be exchanged, refunded, transferred or returned

Door Policy. Will I get searched at the door?

Yes, we will be conducting bag and personal items checks at the door. Any illegal substances, liquids (including water) and anything that may be dangerous (including aerosols and glass) will be confiscated.  ID will also be required on entry to the event premises.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

No.  We also have a strict no glass policy

Drug Use policy

We have a zero tolerance policy on drugs. If you are found in possession when entering the venue premises they will be confiscated and passed on to the relevant authorities. If you are found taking drugs inside the venue you will be removed and may be issued an event ban. If you are found selling or providing drugs then you will be detained and the police will be called immediately. If you are suspected to be under the influence of illegal drugs whilst on the venue premises you will be removed, this is for your own safety as well as the safety of other event goers and members of staff.

We advise that drinks are not left unattended, any that are will be disposed of.

Environmental Policy / Single use plastics:

We are committed to helping the environment. As part of our environmental and sustainability policy we are removing the presence of single use plastics. Please bring a refillable water bottle.

Parking

There is no parking at Trinity. Free on street parking is usually available for Blue Badge Holders within a 50 yard radius of Trinity including areas of Stapleton Road and Old Market. You can find out more about Bristol City Council’s rules on Blue Badge parking on their website here.

Accessibility Information:

Venue Accessibility

The venue is accessible on both floors.

People with disabilities can arrange for priority entry by contacting us in advance.

The stage is 1m high.

The hall floor has level access to all areas creating good sight lines throughout the venue and good visibility depending on crowd density.

We have a viewing area (floor level), house-right for wheelchair users and those who require seating.

The smoking area is wheelchair accessible.

Accessible toilets are located on both floors and a radar key system is in place. A radar key can be borrowed from the duty manager for the duration of the event you are attending.

The venue does not have an accessible bar yet. Bartender service assistance can be provided upon request.

Seating

Live music events are normally standing room only. Limited seating may be provided upon request.

The venue does not have a viewing platform but can arrange a seat in the viewing area, at floor-level house-right.

Guide dogs

As a public space, guide dogs and personal assistance dogs are always permitted at Trinity.

Please be advised, the volume of music at live music events and club nights can reach continuous sound levels max 107db / peak level max 140db. As this could pose harm to your dog’s hearing, we recommend seeking advice from your guide-dog school.

Deaf & visually impaired users

The venue does not have an Induction Loop.

Visually impaired customers, deaf or hard of hearing customers are welcome to stand at the front of the event and we can make security aware of individual requirements.

We will have a BSL Signer for the main event

People with photosensitive epilepsy

The event uses strobe and flashing lighting.

Statement

To produce an inclusive, safe and positive environment and space which is free of any hate, harassment and discrimination and where everyone is treated equally. We have created this code of conduct and ask anyone attending or engaging with UK Beatbox Championships to please read, acknowledge and recognise the information below.

  • To create a safe environment free of physical, verbal or written sexual harassment, discrimination, violence and bullying. We do not tolerate harassing another individual/s with any unwanted behaviour, physically or verbally sexually harassing any individual/s, intimidating behaviour towards an individual/s. This can include but is not limited to: slurs or negative speech, threatening behaviour towards a group or individual, offensive posts or DMs on social media, jokes or trolling online, touching an individual’s body without consent or staring in a sexual manner, negative remarks regarding one’s gender, sharing and distribution of sexually suggestive content in posts and/or DMs, commenting on an individual’s body or sexuality.
  • To be actively inclusive and to not tolerate racism, ableism, transphobia, homophobia or ageism in any form and actively challenge discriminatory behaviours and opinions.
  • To respect boundaries and be mindful that each person is different and will have different personal and cultural boundaries. Pay attention to both verbal and non-verbal cues, and be respectful towards others’ wishes.
  • Think about what influences your words, opinions, feelings, who they might exclude or harm and be aware of and challenge our prejudices and privileges.
  • Respect how people choose to identify. Do not assume anyone’s gender identity, sexual preference, background, etc. And do not share this information with others without permission.
  • Listen if someone challenges us about our behaviour. It’s always hard to hear that your behaviour is making someone uncomfortable. Do not become defensive – listen, reflect and learn.
  • Take care of ourselves. Take care of your health and safety and do not act in any way that endangers yourself or those around you.
  • Report damaging behaviours. If you are being harassed, witness harassment of someone else or have concerns about another person’s conduct, please contact the Venue Manager or another senior member of staff. You can speak to a member of staff or management directly on-site and/or report any inappropriate behaviour or harassment via the contact details below. Staff and contractors can also make reports through our company grievance procedure.


What we do

  • We will follow and stand by our Code of Conduct in everything we do.
  • We will communicate this policy to all staff, crew, performers, artists, participants, judges and other freelancers who work with us. It will also be available publicly.
  • We will take action when someone reports a breach of the code of conduct or reports being uncomfortable in any of our spaces (including online). We will work with the complainant to determine an appropriate response. This might involve:
    • Warning the offender
    • Removing the offender from the event/activity
    • Terminating employment and any contracts
    • Banning the offender from future attendance
    • Contacting the police
    • Putting the complainant in touch with local support services
    • Arranging safe transport home for the complainant
  • We will continue listening, learning and reflecting, individually and with others in our community/industry. This policy will be regularly reviewed and updated. If you have any comments or suggestions related to this policy please contact us using the details below.
