The 2016 UK Beatbox Championships marked the first time the event’s main competition was split across two separate dates and locations. The Elimination Rounds and Under 18 Battles took place at The Station in Bristol on 2nd October 2016, while the Finals were held at Scala in London on 19th November 2016. Relentless Energy Drink once again returned as the official sponsor of the championships.

Defending champion Contrix returned in pursuit of a third title but was defeated by D-Low in the Semi Finals, guaranteeing that a new Solo Champion would be crowned. D-Low continued his impressive run through the competition and ultimately secured the title, becoming the first former UK Under 18 Champion to win the UK Solo Championship.

In the Team category, BURD (Bellatrix and Grace Savage) successfully defended their title to become two-time UK Team Champions. Bellatrix was crowned the new UK Loopstation Champion, while the Under 18 category once again welcomed a new champion following Redbeard’s progression into the Solo division. Frosty emerged victorious to become the 2016 UK Under 18 Champion.
