2024 UKBC – Bristol, UK

After a four-year hiatus due to the pandemic and ongoing funding challenges, the UK Beatbox Championships finally returned in 2024 with overwhelming support from the beatbox community. The event took place at Lost Horizon in Bristol across 2nd and 3rd February 2024, with the Elimination Rounds held on the first day and the Finals taking place on the second in front of a sold-out audience.

The return of the championships saw four new champions crowned across all categories. In the Solo category, 2019 runner-up Bass Ventura defeated Graycloud to claim his first UK Solo Championship title. Deity was crowned UK Under 18 Champion after defeating Alxie, Throwback claimed the UK Team Championship against Kapow, and Har-V secured the UK Loopstation Championship title against Objekt.

The weekend featured two days of eliminations, battles, showcases and special appearances from an international judging panel including Julieta, Robin and Rogue Wave. More than anything, the event marked the long-awaited return of the UK beatbox community, bringing together competitors, judges and audiences from across the country for a memorable celebration of the scene.
