2025 UKBC 20th Anniversary: Festival of Vocal Arts
Bristol, UK
Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the UK Beatbox Championships returned to Bristol on 20th and 21st September 2025 for a special Festival of Vocal Arts at the Trinity Centre.
Marking two decades of UK beatbox history, this milestone edition expanded beyond the championship battles to become a wider celebration of vocal arts, music technology and creative careers. Alongside the UK Beatbox Championships, the event introduced a brand new Music Careers Convention and an interactive Music Equipment & Tech Playground.
These additions gave attendees and artists the opportunity to gain industry insights, attend expert talks, ask questions, network with professionals and get hands-on with cutting-edge music technology from leading brands including Loopy Pro, Boss, Woojer, AlphaTheta and more.
One of the highlights of the weekend was an exclusive Q&A and Masterclass session with the legendary Rahzel, who shared stories, knowledge and inspiration from his pioneering career in beatboxing and music.
The 20th Anniversary Festival of Vocal Arts represented one of the most ambitious editions of UKBC to date, celebrating not only the championships themselves, but the wider culture, creativity and community that has grown around beatboxing in the United Kingdom over the past two decades.
The 2025 UK Beatbox Championships crowned four new champions across its competitive categories.
In the Solo category, Epos defeated Aspie in a high-energy final to become the 2025 UK Solo Champion. The Under 18 category saw Izen claim the title against Exotix, while Chucid were crowned UK Team Champions after overcoming Ka-pow! in the final. In the Loopstation category, Frosty defeated Epos to secure the UK Loopstation Championship title.
The weekend also hosted the Battle Clock International Championship, where Frosty represented the United Kingdom against Bizkit from the USA. Frosty emerged victorious, making it an incredible double championship weekend for the UK beatboxer.
Alongside the battles, attendees were treated to a special performance from D-Low, as well as showcase performances from Inkie, Pe4enkata, Skiller, Ball-Zee and SyJo. Together, these performances helped celebrate two decades of UK beatboxing culture, creativity and innovation.
