2014 UKBC, London, UK

The 2014 UK Beatbox Championships took place at Brixton Jamm in London on 27th September 2014. The event marked another important expansion of the championships with the introduction of the Under 18 category, providing a dedicated platform for the next generation of UK beatbox talent.

With Ball-Zee unable to compete following his historic third UK Solo Championship title in 2013, the competition was guaranteed to crown a new Solo Champion. Hobbit once again battled his way to the final, but it was Contrix who emerged victorious to become the 2014 UK Beatbox Champion.

Elsewhere, Grace Savage chose not to return to defend her Women’s title, allowing Bellatrix to claim the championship and become the new UK Women’s Beatbox Champion. Ill-Bits successfully defended their Team title for a second consecutive year, becoming the first and, to date, only three-time UK Team Champions.

In the Loopstation category, Hobbit retained his title to become a two-time UK Loopstation Champion. Meanwhile, the newly introduced Under 18 category crowned its inaugural champion, with D-Low becoming the first UK Under 18 Champion.
